Mr. Keith L. Mahoney, CEO, received his B.A. degree with History and Sociology concentrations from the University of the State of New York after serving on active duty with the United States Navy as a broadcast journalist. Subsequently, he served as a civilian member of the United States federal law enforcement and intelligence community where he was trained in counterintelligence and counter terrorism operations.

He entered the executive search business in the late 1980's, focusing his efforts on the printing, packaging and allied products industries. He co-founded an Atlanta based international executive search firm, utilizing his Italian language skills, before co-founding "The Human Factor." He remains active in state and national politics. email

Mr. Patrick J. Cathcart, President, received his BS degree in Psychology from the State University of Buffalo. He also did graduate study in EMI at Emory University School of Medicine. In the early 1990's, he was a principal partner in taking Surgimetrics USA, Inc. public, where he served on its Board of Directors and held the position of Executive Vice President and is a co-founder of "The Human Factor."

He has extensive background in the areas of behavioral sciences, information technology and business development. He brings over thirty years of experience in technical sales consulting, sales management, executive recruiting and marketing worldwide. email

Mr. Lou Lavender received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama in 1975. In order to finance his college education, he participated in the Co-Operative Education Program, which included working every other semester at the Tennessee Valley Authority as a Construction Engineer. This began his career in the Power Industry in which he has worked for the last 30 years. Beginning with solid field experience, he has held increasingly responsible positions in the technical services industry with his last position being the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a multifaceted global engineering services firm.

Throughout his career he has specialized in providing technical service solutions to various industrial customers. The key to each successful solution has always involved identifying the best talent and aligning that talent in such a way as to meet or exceed each individual customer’s goals. He will apply this same methodology to locating and providing the talent necessary to be successful in today’s highly competitive technical marketplace. email
